A focus on the level of corporations’ preparedness to comply with EU green social and governance rules and principles, how they integrate sustainability in their day-to-day business, as well as identification of policy initiatives and business practices needed to boost sustainability further. The discussion may include ESG corporate reporting issues, how corporations address externalities caused by their businesses, whether they have net zero commitments or whether new technologies, materials, or supply chains are tracked, and resources and expertise needed are in place on their journey to sustainability and finally which international initiatives are ongoing to enhance standard-setting relating to sustainability-related disclosures by corporates.
