Nik Nanos is the Chief Data Scientist and Founder of Nanos Research, a premier research organization renowned for delivering market and consumer insights globally. He is a trusted advisor helping major enterprises navigate in a complex and ever-changing marketplace.
Since 2013, he has been tracking the Hellenic brand in the United States and Canada, uncovering insights on factors ranging from investing in Greece, Greece as a NATO ally through to the perception of Greek products and Greece as a place to visit.
His strategic counsel, grounded in data-driven insights, has been instrumental for organizations looking to expand markets, test advertising, and understand customer behavior.
Nik’s expertise extends beyond research. He is a Global Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington DC and a research adjunct professor at the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs. His leadership roles include serving as the Past Board Chair of Carleton University in Ottawa and Chair of Atlantik-Bruecke Canada, a not-for-profit dedicated to strengthening German-Canadian relations.
In 2023, Nik was appointed to the Trilateral Commission, a prestigious global organization that unites senior policymakers, business leaders, media representatives, and academics to tackle the world’s most pressing issues. As the pollster of record for CTV News, The Globe & Mail, and Bloomberg News in Canada, Nik’s insights are highly sought after. His contributions to the field have been recognized with his appointment as a member of the Order of Canada. He is also a member of The Most Venerable Order of the Hospital of St. John of Jerusalem and an Honorary Captain in the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN), providing advice to the Commander of the RCN.
